Society and heARTsmove, a social
work development center in Beijing.
This picture book is designed to help children who are undergoing long-term medical treatment integrate
into
school and society. The story features two children: one named Red, representing a child with leukemia,
and
another named White, representing a healthy child. After receiving treatment, Red's color fades to pink,
and
White also turns pink when she occasionally gets sick. In the end, they realize that they are not so
different from each other; everyone is the same.
